Dorobo Strategy
- The Venters are currently working in 8 main areas :
Teret, Nessuit, Kobor, Koiwa, Kapsenda, Sugutek, Chemamul and Kalyet.
- They believe in: Information empowers and
Informed people are transformed people.
- Have regular Leadership Training and Impartation meetings
where the aim is to establish the accurate operation of the
5-fold ministry with an emphasis on the Apostolic and
Prophetic dimensions.
- Also using the methods of teaching (groups as well as one-on-one),
seminars, workshops, brochures, etc. on issues like AIDS, farming,
health, water conservation, family life, etc.
- They assist by providing multi-purpose facilities, toilet facilities,
etc.
- Initiating community projects.
- Organizing small groups to attend conferences, etc. in bigger towns
like Nakuru or Nairobi.
- Having regular children’s programs.
- Have started two nursery schools - one in Teret and one in Kapmuteme
(church in Kapmuteme has shifted to Kapsenda, but nursery school is
still operational).
- Sponsoring students to go to secondary or tertiary institutions
- Give assistance during tribal clashes.
- Writing proposals to make known the needs of the Ndorobos.
